The Sunday night groups played on into the early hours of Monday morning,
and after Johnny Winter’s blazing blues set, contemporary jazz-rock group
Blood, Sweat, & Tears took the stage at 1:45 AM on 18 August 1969.
As the group’s sixth song of their set, they played “Sometimes In Winter”
which they had recorded for their eponymous second studio album, released
in December 1968. The Woodstock recording was not released until 2019
as part of the box set Woodstock - Back To The Garden.
Woodstock – Back to the Garden: The Definitive 50th Anniversary Archive
is a live album by various artists, packaged as a box set of 38 CDs. It
contains nearly all of the performances from the Woodstock music festival,
which took place on August 15–18, 1969, in Bethel, New York.
