"Guilty" is a song written by Randy Newman and first released by Bonnie
Raitt as the final song on her 1973 album Takin' My Time. Newman would
record the song a year later and include it on his album Good Old Boys,
released in September 1974.
Takin' My Time is the third studio album by American musician Bonnie Raitt.
It was released in October 1973 by Warner Bros. Records. The album is
an amalgamation of several different genres, including blues, folk, jazz,
New Orleans rhythm and blues, and calypso. The LP reached #87 on the
Billboard 200 album chart.
