"Rock My Soul" is the title song and opening track to Elvin Bishop's
third album, released in 1972. After leaving Fillmore Records, Bishop
would form The Elvin Bishop Band and sign with Epic Records. His group
would release one album with Epic, Rock My Soul, produced by Delaney
Bramlett. The LP would not chart. Epic would drop his contract after the
album's lack of success. He moved on to Capricorn Records as a solo
performer the following year. He would find success with Capricorn
in 1976 with the #3 hit single "Fooled Around and Fell in Love".
