"Something So Right" is a song by American singer-songwriter Paul Simon.
It is the fourth song on his 1973 album, There Goes Rhymin' Simon.
Although it was not a single, it was released as the B-side of a number
of singles, including "Take Me to the Mardi Gras" and "Slip Slidin' Away".
The song has been covered by numerous artists, most notably by British
singer Annie Lennox, whose 1995 duet with Simon placed at #44 on
the UK Singles Chart.
There Goes Rhymin' Simon is the third solo studio album by American
musician Paul Simon released on May 5, 1973. It contains songs covering
several styles and genres, such as gospel ("Loves Me Like a Rock") and
Dixieland ("Take Me to the Mardi Gras"). It received two nominations at
the Grammy Awards of 1974; Best Pop Vocal Performance, Male and
Album of the Year. The album was a bigger hit than its predecessor,
reaching #2 on the Billboard 200 album chart.
